0.5 cup oats

2 tbsp flaked almonds

0.5 tsp ground cinnamon

0.25 tsp ground nutmeg

0.25 tsp ground mixed spice

40g 70% dark chocolate

Steps

Place the coconut oil and maple syrup in a microwaveable bowl. Cover and cook on high for 30 seconds. |

Add the oats, almonds, cinnamon, mixed spice, and nutmeg. Stir until coated. |

Place back in the microwave, cover, and cook on high for 30 seconds. |

Stir and repeat another two times for a total cooking time of 90 seconds. |

Tip onto a baking tray and leave to cool and harden. |

Once the granola is cooled, chop the dark chocolate into small chunks and add to the mixture. |

Eat straight away or place in an air tight container. Consume within 2-3 days. |
