Shepherd’s Pie

Place the potatoes in a dish with 3 tbsp of water. Cover with pierced cling film and place on the base of the oven. Cook on AUTO POTATO PROGRAM or MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 10-12 minutes or until soft. Drain and mash well with the milk.


Place onion, carrot, and butter into dish. Place on the base of the oven and cook on MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 5 minutes or until soft.


Add mince to the vegetables. Then add the stock, Worcestershire sauce, gravy thickening, and tomato puree. Season to taste. Cook on HIGH MICROWAVE for 15 minutes.


Spread the potato on the top then sprinkle with cheese. Place dish on wire shelf and cook on CONVECTION 190° + WARM MICROWAVE for 25-30 minutes or until the top is crisp and golden.

350g minced beef
275 ml hot beef stock
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
15 ml gravy thickening
1 tbsp tomato puree
Salt and Pepper
25g grated cheese
