Gingerbread Latte with Pecan Nut Milk



When the days are getting colder and you just want to stay home, what’s better than a hot mug of gingerbread? This gingerbread latte is like a hug in a mug. Enough caffeine to keep you full of energy, but also healthy thanks to pecan nuts and gingerbread spices such as cinnamon and ginger. Serve this hearty beverage during a Christmas brunch or next to some almond cookies: it’s such a treat, you’ll definitely want to enjoy this often!




Soak pecan nuts in hot water for 25 minutes.


Drain and rinse pecans nuts.


In a French press: make coffee by mixing 3 tbsp ground coffee with 600 ml hot water. Wait 3 minutes, then press the coffee with the filters.


Mix soaked pecan nuts with coffee and spices in a jug.


Put the mixture in the Slow Juicer.


Divide the Gingerbread Latte into 4 microwave safe mugs and heat them in the Microwave Oven at 1000W for a minute.


Add some dark honey if you want to sweeten it up.

80g pecan nuts
600ml water
3 tbsp coffee
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1/3 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp dark honey optional
