Ingredients
-
450g wheat flour
-
70g powdered sugar
-
1 pinch salt
-
200g soft butter
-
2 egg yolks
-
1 egg white
-
200 ml lukewarm milk
-
7g dry yeast
-
200g fine cane sugar
-
1 tbsp gingerbread spice
Steps
1
|
Add flour, powdered sugar, salt, 30g butter, yolk and milk into the baking pan of your bread maker. Fill dry yeast into the yeast dispenser (if your bread maker doesn’t have one, add the yeast directly into the bread pan). Select the “Dough Program” & press start. When the dough is done, place it into a bowl, cover with cling film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place. |

Meanwhile, stir remaining butter, cane sugar and gingerbread spice for the filling. |
3
|
Knead the dough on the lightly floured work space with your hands for a short time and divide into four parts. Shape each piece of dough into round pieces and then roll them out thinly with a rolling pin. Each dough should be slightly larger than a dinner plate. |
